“We survived the heatwave thanks to the fantastic pool and outdoor kitchen area – what a treat! Three generations had a wonderful time here at La Perode. Alec et Annie were wonderful hosts – incredibly helpful whenever we needed them but otherwise unobtrusive - Alec was particularly helpful with helping to sort accommodation for the next few days due to a change of plans which we were very grateful for.
We didn’t manage to explore the area very much because of the heat so we missed out on some châteaux – we will need to come back!
All in all a lovely family holiday, beautiful location, a fantastic pool with fabulous hosts & the lovely Nina!
