“We had two wonderful weeks in this beautiful property situated in a stunning part of the Dordogne and within easy reach of so many places to visit. The accommodation is perfect for a family and the allure of the pool area with its own cooking and eating facilities worked fantastically for us. Alec and Annie were wonderful and unobtrusive hosts who offered support and advice whenever needed.

“From our first email to our hugs goodbye, you could never find better hosts than Alec & Annie. Ours was a holiday of two halves - week one sport with our children and partners. Everyone loved the house and especially the pool area. Hours of fun and laughter, competitions and games. The second week with our parents who also loved the pool area and it's layout and relaxed feel. La Perode truly has something for everyone. Alec & Annie are so accommodating and helpful. The house and views are beautiful and the people around are so friendly. If you're looking to find somewhere to explore then look no further. “We've had an absolutely wonderful week at La Perode! The setting is so peaceful and relaxing—just what we needed. The pool area is outstanding, complete with its own BBQ kitchen, games area and shower. When not exploring the fabulous nearby towns and villages, we also loved spending time on the terraces, enjoying meals and drinks while taking in the beautiful surroundings identifying the birds and butterflies.
A big thank you to our lovely hosts, Alec and Annie, whose warm hospitality made us feel completely at home. It was a real pleasure chatting with them, learning about the area and the development of La Perode.

“Had a wonderful week - for a family get-together. Visited around in the mornings and back to the pool in the afternoon & early evening. Market day in Rouffignac was great - a must-do. Lots of pool gear to keep the little ones entertained and great BBQ for the group with a nice big fridge. Alec & Annie were on hand when needed, with lots of advice and tips on where to go, what to try. Could not recommend the place higher!
